Position Summary...
What you'll do...
We are looking for a Sr. Manager of Product Management for our TCO software application, a tool that helps the Walmart business leaders understand the total cost of ownership for various software solutions. As a Director of product management, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle of the TCO software application.
About the Team:
In the Technology Strategy team, we address issues that need cross-departmental input and involvement with senior executives throughout the company. While in the commercialization team, we develop partner networks to support increased productivity, speed, and innovation.
What you'll do:
As a Sr. Manager of Product Management for the TCO software application, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Align product strategy with business goals and customer needs
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to create a product roadmap and prioritize the features and functionalities of the TCO software application
- Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications for the TCO software application
- Manage the product backlog and ensure that the development team delivers high-quality and user-friendly software solutions
- Analyze user behavior, feedback, and data to identify opportunities for enhancement of the TCO software application
What you'll bring:
To be a successful Sr. Manager of Product Management for the TCO software application, you should have the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field
- Five or more years of experience in product management or leading product development, preferably in the software industry
- Knowledge of agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, and tools, such as Jira or Confluence
- Familiarity with TCO concepts, calculations, and best practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
