Position Summary...
What you'll do...
As a member of the Walmart Finance Data Factory, you will be an integral part of improving the overall data strategy and processing through technology. As we look at the growing needs of data, processing and analytics, you will help impact the data strategy by helping the team manage at the Work stream.
The ideal candidate for this role is an outcome-based problem solver, a strategic thinker who has an analytical mindset and is results-oriented with an intersection of strong Product Management and Finance/Accounting skills.
About the Team:
Our team gathers information about customer needs and applies our technological expertise and strategic thinking to create a product roadmap. The product journey is designed to leverage technological excellence to drive customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Do:
Conducting stakeholder or end-user interviews, composing and publishing notes for team visibility.
Translation of the defined end-user "need" into functional requirements and features for the product backlog
Curation of the Sprint Backlog and composition of the end-user acceptance criteria within Jira
Measuring qualitative and quantitative KPIs to qualify end-user sentiment and product success
Elevating data literacy and driving adoption through critical stakeholders and drafting release notes
What you’ll Bring...
At least 4 years of Product Management or or Finance/Accounting experience
You will have a product mindset and ability for innovation.
You like digging into large data, doing some analysis, and able make decisions based off that analysis.
You’re comfortable influencing others, working on 4 in the box teams, working directly with stakeholders, getting buy-in from leadership, and communicating clearly.
You have a test and learn mentality and an agile way of working to improve your team’s products.
You are customer obsessed, expressing empathy to guide discovery beyond the initial request and uncover the true business need.
You’re an excellent communicator, breaking down complex concepts to make them easy to understand.
You're a generous collaborator, you enjoy building expertise, insights, and solutions to collaborative teams and can thrive with cross-functional and matrixed teams.
