DESCRIPTION

The Senior Product Manager role is critical to the success of the Sponsored TV program and our efforts to revolutionize TV advertising. This role will own a core part of the team charter: defining requirements, setting the roadmap and is responsible for its execution. You will get to influence product strategy, define use cases, analyze financial implications, and ultimately choose the most promising path for your area of ownership. You will drive prioritization across multiple development teams, partner with internal stakeholders, conduct user testing with customers, and develop the go to market plan. You are an evangelist, promoting new features to customers, defining success metrics, and accelerating adoption while simultaneously protecting and enhancing the customer experience.

An ideal candidate is an owner who initiate projects, enables delivery across many interdependent teams, and leads the execution. The successful candidate must have problem solving skills, business judgment, technical depth and demonstrated experience leading through influence on initiatives that involve multiple cross-functional teams. We are looking for an effective technical product manager to execute both strategically and tactically, and someone who is excited to take on a new, ambitious, and ambiguous program.

Sponsored TV is the latest ad product within the Amazon Ads portfolio, helping any marketer— even if they’re new to TV advertising, leverage sight, sound and motion to connect with TV audiences. We are innovating across every facet of the TV ad experience, including but not limited to viewer creative experiences, performance optimization, measurement and advertiser journeys. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
